Carbon Free Futures Through Nuclear Energy

Carbon Free Futures through Nuclear Energy (CF2-NE) program will host informational sessions for historically excluded and economically challenged populations regarding the benefits of and career opportunities in the commercial nuclear energy industry. In collaboration with community leaders, Federal and State government agencies, and academic institutions, CF2-NE will conduct community advocacy and focus group sessions to address perceived concerns, risks, and issues within these communities about commercial nuclear power.

The primary goal for CF2-NE is to create knowledgeable constituencies who are capable and motivated to influence public policy. The objective is that they will encourage lawmakers to promulgate much needed policies and laws that fairly and effectively address carbon reduction especially for the subject communities.
